Gyahhhhhh. I'm really sorry I'm horrible at updating my journal and deviantart in general. It's been well over a year since I last updated, and a lot of stuff has happened, mostly me completing my sophomore year of college, and looking for/obtaining a graphic design internship. Even though I'm currently really busy with work, family, being with friends (while I can), and whatever personal projects I take up. Despite all that going on though, I managed to find time to return to AnimeNEXT 09 Artist Alley.

Friday was a bit nerve wracking and a little sad for me, especially cause not a lot of people were stopping by the table or buying things. Even though it wasn't that great in terms of sales, I had lots of fun with everyone else at our table. I also made a MASSIVE (as in, filled one of those huge foil trays) bento for some of the people at my table, which managed to last us through lunch, dinner, and snacks, and we still ended up with leftovers! Victor and Andrew also stopped by for one day, and I found an artbook I'd wanted for a long time at a third of the original price. Score! I also bought Victor a Soul Eater Blind Box for his birthday, and he ended up getting Death the Kid, his favorite character

Because of low sales on Friday, I had pretty low expectations for the rest of the weekend. Instead though, on Saturday, I was pretty much drawing chibis for people non-stop! While I was about to pack up, a large amount of people came, and I drew for some of them, and some told me they'd return on Sunday. I also sold a fair amount of the Chie button sets, original buttons, and Angerbunnies. Apparently he's recognizable now. My friend from school carried one around and told me a bunch of people knew it XD I also met a lot of really interesting people, like , the most awesome Rise (Persona 4) cosplayer you will ever see.

Sunday was also very surprising, and I ended up drawing almost all day on Sunday too. At one point, I snagged a free moment to start eating my sandwich, when people kept coming for chibi's one after the other. It took two hours for an opportunity to finish my sandwich ^_^;; Overall though, AnimeNEXT 09 was good for me, and I hope it was for you too ;D

It was amazing meeting every single one of you, whether you commissioned me, bought merch, took my card, or just chatted with me. All of you guys are amazing, talented, creative, and friendly people. I truly look forward to hearing from any of you again. Feel free to note me or IM me. Just mention what you were dressed as or what we talked about, and I'll be good. I'm bad with names but I'll remember everything else XD
